Ships of all types have numerous air inlets for gas turbine engines and ventilation needs. Ingestion of rain and seawater are concerns for the performance and life of ship systems. In Navy applications, such inlets also create strong radar returns, denying low observabillity. EPP manufactures radar absorbing louvers, and is currently developing a new louver system incorporating a new high performance moisture separator. These low cost combination systems offer exceptional performance in a compact, low maintenance composite design.
